Cyclone dust collector is composed of intake pipe, exhaust pipe, cylinder, cone and ash bucket. Cyclone dust collector has simple structure, easy manufacturing, installation and maintenance management, low equipment investment and operating costs, and has been widely used to separate solid and liquid particles from the air stream, or to separate solid particles from the liquid. Under ordinary operating conditions, the centrifugal force acting on the particles is 5 to 2500 times that of gravity, so the efficiency of the cyclone is significantly higher than that of the gravity settling chamber. Based on this principle, a cyclone dust removal device with a dust removal efficiency of more than 90% has been successfully developed. In the mechanical dust collector, the cyclone dust collector is the most efficient one. It is suitable for the removal of non-viscous and non-fibrous dust, mostly used to remove particles above 5μm, and the parallel multi-tube cyclone dust collector device also has 80 ~ 85% dust removal efficiency for particles of 3μm. Selection of high temperature, abrasion and corrosion resistance of special metal or ceramic material structure of cyclone dust collector, can be operated at temperatures up to 1000ºC, pressure up to 500×105Pa conditions. From the technical and economic aspects, the pressure loss control range of cyclone dust collector is generally 500 ~ 2000Pa. Therefore, it belongs to the medium efficiency dust collector, and can be used for the purification of high temperature flue gas, is a widely used dust collector, more used in boiler flue gas dust removal, multi-stage dust removal and pre-dust removal. Its main disadvantage is that the removal efficiency of fine dust particles (< 5μm) is low.
